New London Mayor Michael Passero and other dignitaries will be recognizing the incredible efforts of Rotary Clubs across Connecticut. Connecticut’s 92 Rotary Clubs and their 4,000 members have raised and spent more than $500,000 to help our communities during the Covid-19 crisis. This massive effort to provide PPE, food, and financial support is an unprecedented effort for Rotary, and it is far from over. Rotarians will continue to work hard, in their cities and towns, to help those who need it as we battle Meredith G. Diette recently joined Berchem Moses PC as a Partner in the Labor & Employment Law Department. She advises private, non-profit and municipal clients on laws governing the employment relationship, and assists clients during collective bargaining and binding arbitration proceedings. Attorney Diette represents employers in negotiations, hearings and trials before the National Labor Relations Board, the Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and The ECSO announces the continuation of a program supported by the New London Rotary Club. On Thursday, December 14, 2017, musicians from the ECSO will perform duets during the New London Community Meal Center’s dinner service at 5pm. ECSO Principal Clarinetist, Kelli O’Connor, and ECSO Principal Oboist Carla Parodi, will perform for food insecure residents of New London County.
